First Quarter Membership Meeting 2008
The date is set for the Team Core Hawaii first quarter membership meeting. John Akana has graciously offered to sponsor our meeting at the Outrigger Canoe Club 2909 Kalakaua Ave., Waikiki . We will hold the meeting while enjoying a delicious Sunday Brunch. The brunch is free to current paid Team Core Hawaii members. All other guests will be charged $20.00 per person.

Annual membership dues are $60.00 and checks can be made out to: TEAM CORE HAWAII. Once your membership is processed, you will receive your current membership card which can be used at McCully Bicycle.
RSVP: Please reserve your seat by contacting Gay Murakami at gaymurakami@yahoo.com or 384-6611 by Friday, February 15, 2008. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated to ensure an accurate head count.

Remember that at each of our meetings, we will have guest speakers (from within and outside of the club) who will provide valuable information and presentations on a number of topics of interest. For example, presentations on injury prevention, effective training techniques, staying motivated for training, developing attainable short and long-term performance goals, safe cycling and especially safe group cycling, cycling techniques and equipment, swimming techniques and training, and all aspects of developing a safe running program that does not overstress your joints. Make a point to come, learn and contribute from your own hard-earned experience!
