The Team Core Hawai`i `ohana would like to send out a special get well soon to Cal Asaeda and Charlie Uehara who were involved in a cycling accident on Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Both team members were taken by ambulance to Queen's Hospital where Cal suffered a broken clavicle and Charlie sustained bruises. They both were discharged from the hospital late Tuesday night and are home resting and recovering. Luckily both rider were wearing their helmets which probably saved them from further injuries.

We are so fortunate to have such a supportive team because everyone stayed until Cal and Charlie were safely put in the ambulance and taken from the scene. Thank you to Darrin Sato, Gordon and Chris Kamimura, Cori Ito, Leland Nakakura  and Allan Teshima for stopping by the hospital. Many other members called to check on the two and send their well wishes.  Take care and rest up.
