Ft. DeRussy Biathlon Volunteers Needed
The 11th Annual Ft. DeRussy Adult & Keiki Biathlon will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009. Kelley Hupp has been doing such an awesome job each year
putting on this race, but she could not do it without dedicated volunteers to assist with various duties throughout the race. Team Core Hawaii has been very supportive of Kelley's efforts and we would like to assist her again this year.
Here are the jobs available:
Saturday, 28 Feb. 2009
Packet Pick Up 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (5 people needed)
Saturday, March 7, 2009 Race Day
Late packet pick up (4 people needed)
Timing Chip & Swim Cap Distribution & Body Marking (8 people needed)
Transition Area & Aid Station #1 (3 people needed)
Finish Line (3 people)
Run Course – Mike Conway Leader (15 people needed)
Aid Station #2: (3 people needed)
Gear Check In & Volunteer Tent (5 people needed)
Keiki Leaders (4 people needed)
Plan on meeting at 0530 – Hale Koa Hotel Park (Ilima Lawn) race day.
As you can see there are many people needed to run a successful race like this, so if you are able to volunteer a few hours on March 7, or know of anyone who would like to volunteer, please post your "comments" below. Include your name, the job you would like to work, and a contact number. Any questions, call Kelley at 228-0431 or email Gay at gaymurakami@yahoo.com. I am confident that Team Core Hawaii members will step up to the plate once again and help Kelley this year.
Mahalo!
