Congratulations to all the teams who participated in the State Team Time Trials at Kualoa Park on Sunday, May 6, 2012. What an exciting day of racing. The day started out with a morning blessing, but after that the sun came out and dried up all the rain and the race was on. It was a close race between the top teams, and the final results are available below.
22 teams participated in the event with the fixed gear teams showing a strong representation once again.

Also, thank you for all the volunteers who came out to help put on this safe race. We couldn't have done it without your help.

Mahalo for your participation and we look forward to seeing you at the next cycling event.

Ride safe!
Cambio/Core Team

State TTT 2012 results

Without your help, we wouldn't have been able to "feed" the entire pack and many riders would be suffering out there without your aide! Everyone was very calm and professional as each pack came by. Your encouraging words and communication to the riders was very nice to see. Cambio/Core once again had a strong showing on and off the bike and I am proud to be part of such an awesome team.

To the riders who represented our team, GOOD JOB! You battled out there to the very end and you made the other teams work hard for their money. Congratulations to the first time riders Roy Kanemitsu, Mike Green, Todd Nishimoto and Peter Wolff. Now you can say finally say you did "Dick Evans" and you'll all be ready to do it again next year.

This was the last race of the cycling season, so enjoy your rest while you think about next year's racing schedule. It was a great year and continue to ride safe. Once again thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Smiles,
Gaysha
Sorry, I can't afford to send you to Europe, but you can drive to Pineapple Hill and be part of the Tour de `Oahu! Dick Evans Memorial Road Race takes place this Sunday, September 4, 2011.

I am looking for volunteers to man the first feed zone at Pineapple Hill in Wahiawa. Plan on meeting at Pineapple Hill between 6:45-6:55 am to get instructions and situated in your area. Riders are estimated to get to the feed zone around 7ish. After the riders go thru, we will have to bag the used bottles and pick up any trash left behind. Since this is the first aid station, the riders should be closely
grouped so we should be finished around 8 ish.

I hope to have all water bottles and sports drink available to distribute on the Tuesday, so if you can help by filling up water bottles and transporting them to Pineapple Hill, I would appreciate this.

If you are able and willing to help, please "comment" to this message with your name.

Thank you for your assistance to the race and the cycling community.
